Injury crash occurs Sunday April 19, 2009 on KY 55 Collision is between Campbellsville and Columbia, just north of Adair County line. Both drivers belted. Both taken to Taylor Regional Hospital By Trooper Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY TAYLOR COUNTY, KY - Collision occurred at 2:25pm, Sunday, April 19, 2009, approximately 8 miles South of Campbellsville on Ky 55. David Webster, 23, of Campbellsville, KY was operating a 2000 Mercury Cougar. Mr Webster was not wearing a seat belt. He was traveling Southbound on Ky 55 and was in a passing lane. Upon approaching a vehicle which was turning left, Webster lost control of his vehicle and crossed into the Northbound lane where he was struck in the passenger side by a 2000 Ford Taurus which was operated by Michael Lostutter, 52, of Louisville, KY. Mr Lostutter was belted. Both drivers were transported to Taylor Regional Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the collision. Trooper Brian Coyt of Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY, is investigating. He was assisted at the scene by Trooper James Richard, also of Post 15.
