14 turkeys reported taken through April 17, 2009

So far, only 14 male turkeys have been reported as harvested in Adair County during the current season through April 17, 2009, but neighboring Casey County and Green County have reported 17.

Nancy, Amberly Luttrell take turkeys near Dunnville, KY

Frances Salyers writes, "Here is my niece, Amberly Luttrell, and my sister, Nancy Luttrell with the turkeys they took yesterday. They are from Dunnville, KY."

Amberly, Nancy and now Paul Luttrell have turkeys

Frances Salyers updates the Luttrell family turkey hunting success. "Add Paul Luttrell, right, to the family gallery of successful 2009 turkey hunters. His was killed in Adair County, in the Tucker Woods above Knifley. It's about 24 lbs, with an 11 inch beard and 1 inch spurs." and earlier she wrote, earlier, "Here is my niece, Amberly Luttrell, and my sister, Nancy Luttrell with the turkeys they took yesterday. Amberly's jakeand Nancy's turkey were killed in Casey County. Nancy's had 10" beard, 1.25 inch spurs and weighed 25 pounds. They are from Dunnville, KY."
