Remembering Mr. Aaron Pyles: An accomplished genealogist

About: Mr. Aaron Pyles: Born August 24, 1921 - April 4, 2009

By E.H. Lepiarczyk
I would like to say that Mr. Pyles was a fine gentleman. He is also my fourth cousin. Mr. Pyles was an accomplished genealogist. I provided him with information regarding our Bryant family genealogy.

My third cousin, the late Mrs. Ralph Arlo Stephens, worked diligently with Mr. Pyles toward the fruition of his genealogical splendor, a book entitled _Bryants and Hardwicks of Adair_. Before this publication, Mr. Pyles also compiled a genealogical publication about his Pyles ancestral family.

The love and respect Mr. Pyles had for the family in which God placed him was a blessing to all of his relatives! I am honored that I had the opportunity to know Mr. Pyles in my lifetime.

I am proud of his contributions he made particularly in preserving our Bryant family heritage. Our ancestral Bryant family is one of Adair County's historic first families. Many descendants of our pioneer John Bryant family live in Adair County today.

I am confident that Mr. Pyles is enjoying a great family reunion in the presence of our Lord. May God bless all members of our Bryant family always. Mr. Pyles' niece, Mrs. Larry Russell Bryant, is precious. I enjoy knowing and learning about my Bryant family cousins.
