CPD makes bootlegging arrest on Parrott Avenue Alcohol, refrigerator, and $37.50 in cash confiscated The Columbia Police arrested a Russell Springs man on Parrott Avenue, Columbia, KY, Monday night, April 13, 2009, for bootlegging. Ernest Foley, 41, was arrested by Columbia Police Officer Jamie Cole and charged with illegal sale of alcohol in a dry territory, 1st offense, after after selling alcohol to an undercover officer. Police confiscated the following in the arrest: 254 cans of Beer, 8 half pints of liquor, 21 pints of Liquor, 1 refrigerator and $37.50 in cash. Officer Cole was assisted by Columbia Police Department Officers Gary Roy and Tracy McCarol. Foley was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail in Columbia, KY. Story courtesy Chief Mark D.
