About: "Bridges of Adair Co KY Footbridge on Pelham Branch Road"

Hi Ed,

Just want to comment on the old bridge on Pelham Branch Road.

What great memories I hold so dear to my heart of this old bridge.

It makes me think back to my childhood. As my sister Margaret said, Daddy built this bridge many years ago.

We grew up there in that wonderful community going to school at Hutchison - 12 girls and my great brother, Robert Allen.BR>
My parents, Richard and Frances Smith, left many foot prints on that old bridge.

Daddy has since gone home to be with Jesus and Mom still lives in Columbia.

I left columbia several years ago, but my heart will always be there. I come back quite often and visit my mom and the rest of the family.

I go up to the Hood Cemetery to see Dad's grave. Then I always stop and see the old bridge.BR>
Sad but wonderful memories.BR>
Please keep the ColumbiaMagazine coming. It always brings me back home again.BR>
Thank you.
s/Alice Smith Robinson
