The Bridges of Adair Co, KY: Richard Smith built footbridge over Pelham BR About: "Footbridge on Pelham Branch RD To ColumbiaMagazine.com: Memories! Memories! This little bridge carried me several miles. This bridge is located on the old homeplace I cherish so much and am blessed to live on today. My one brother and 11 sisters and me, cherish the memories made there in the little yellow house across from the bridge. We are the children of Richard and Frances Smith. We are still blessed to have our mother, but our dad is buried across the road at Hood Cemetery. I can remember well when my dad had the bridge built. s/Margaret Smith Harden This story was posted on 2009-04-11 09:47:03
