KSP Post 15 investigating check forgeries

Individual is passing checks on TJ Samson Hospital; targets IGA, Houchens Stores. Trooper D. Holder is investigating

COLUMBIA, KY - Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, is conducting an ongoing investigation involving forged checks. An unknown individual is passing checks on TJ Samson Hospital.

This individual is described as being a white male in his mid 50's with salt and pepper hair. This person is approximately 5'8" 220 lbs with a mustache and glasses. The perpetrator is usually well dressed in a button up shirt and khaki pants.




The perpetrator is cashing counterfeit payroll checks from TJ Samson Hospital with the payroll stub still attached. Along with the checks the individual is producing a photo identification card from TJ Samson Hospital. The perpetrator targets Houchens and IGA stores.

Any information in regards to this investigation can be forwarded to Trooper D. Holder with the Kentucky State Police in Columbia, KY.
