Head-on crash just after midnight on Nobob-SS RD By Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY METCALFE COUNTY - A collision occurred, 1219amCT, Tuesday, April 7, 2009, on Nobob Summer Shade Rd. Timothy Lile 34 of Summer Shade was operating a 2002 Saturn. Lile was traveling eastbound on Nobob Summer Shade Road when an unknown operator driving a 1983 Chevy pickup entered his lane of travel at a high rate of speed causing a head on collision. Lile was wearing his seat belt. Lile refused transport: however, he received first aid at the scene. The unknown driver fled the scene. Alcohol is believed to be a factor.Tpr.
