Overcorrection a factor in Gradyville accident; two airlifted to UL

A 2003 Dodge truck, operated by Freddie Corbin, 26, Columbia, traveling north on Old Gradyville Rd. dropped off the shoulder of the roadway, and overturned after the driver overcorrected.

All three occupants were injured. Two passengers, Kenton Hayes, 28, Columbia, and Lonnie Hourigan, 28, Columbia, were transported to Westlake Regional Hospital in Columbia, KY, by the Adair EMS and both were later airlifted to the University of Louisville Hospital.

The driver, Freddie Corbin, 26, Columbia, KY, had minor injuries. He was arrested, charged with DUI and reckless driving.

The incident is being investigated by Deputies Charles Greer and Bruce McCloud of the Adair County Sheriff's Department.
