Remembering Freddy Burton: He was a hero to us About: "In Memory of Freddy Burton," by Albert T. Burton To ColumbiaMagazine:com: I was a teenager when Freddie returned from the war that should have never have been, and had taken our teenage boys from all over the U.S. He was a hero to us, but what could this have done for our home town, which was all we could think about. In our small coummity he was a icon! And he was very much loved and missed when he was gone. He had a 1966 Chev that no one could outrun.
