LWC Women's Golf tied for lead at Bellarmine Invitational LWC Golfers tied with NCAAA Division II team with team total 323. Chelsey Key, Lafayette, TN sophomore is pacesetter for Raiders, with great performances from Krista Burton, Jessica Smith, Aline Decker, Paola Gonzalez, and Cheslee Stone. By Chris Wells, LWC Sports Information Director LOUISVILLE, KY - The Lindsey Wilson College women's golf team sits tied atop the leaderboard at the Bellarmine (KY) University Women's Invitational at Persimmon Ridge Golf Course in Louisville, KY. The Blue Raiders shot a team-total of 323 and are tied with NCAA Division II Northern Kentucky University heading into Tuesday's final round. Southern Indiana University is three shots back following its 326. Lindsey Wilson's Chelsey Key led the Blue Raiders with a six-over par 78. The Lafayette, TN., sophomore, is in third three strokes behind tournament leader Jess Dooley of Southern Indiana. Northern Kentucky's Lyndsey Bevill is second with a 76. Lindsey Wilson junior Krista Burton is tied for fourth after a 79. Junior Jessica Smith (82), senior Aline Decker (84) and freshman Paola Gonzalez (84) rounds out the Blue Raider quintet. Junior Cheslee Stone shot an 83 playing as an individual. The final round is set for Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Persimmon Ridge, 72 Persimmon Ridge Drive, Louisville, KY.
