Mabel Blankenship had a gift for healing By Ann Burton Murphy Once I cut myself and I was bleeding profusely, so someone went and got Mabel Blankenship. Mabel had a gift of healing. When something serious came up, everyone went to her, especially poor people, and the older ones that didn't trust doctors, as well. As I said before, my foot was really bleeding. I remember, at least three big pans of bloody water, that someone kept changing, while my mom held me, to keep me still. Mabel took my foot between her hands, looked at me and after a few minutes the bleeding stopped. Mabel was a hard working woman and was greatly missed after she passed on. I did learn one of her healing powers, and it does work. This story was posted on 2009-03-28 11:13:49
