Mrs. Giles died in Adair County in 1979, and is buried alongside her husband, Henry Giles, in the cemetery at Caldwell Chapel, on Caldwell Ridge between Knifley and Pellyton, KY. The Adair County Public Library, 307 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY is also the Janice Holt Giles Memorial Library.
