V.T. Yarberry: A proud time for Columbia and Adair Co., KY!!! About: Mr. Hamlett announces 1st menu for Mulligan's To ColumbiaMagazine.com: What a proud time for Columbia and Adair County, KY! No other community in America anywhere near as small as this community has a college or university the equal of Lindsey Wilson. When I read Mike Hamlett's article about renaming the dining room, "Mulligan's," and the wonderful new name for the golf course, "The Pines at Lindsey Wilson," I was elated. Great move! I think that the removal of the "country club" from the name of our golf course will greatly enhance the image of this great recreational facility. It made me wonder whether any other colleges in Kentucky own their own golf course. How many colleges and universities in all of America share this distinction? I'd love to know. Go, LWC! s/Tucker Yarberry The Pines at Lindsey Wilson and Mulligan's are located at 275 Country Club RD, Columbia, KY. This story was posted on 2009-03-26 09:55:30
