2009-03-25 - Somerset, KY - Photo by Dave Cazalet, Jr. SCC photo. 56 SCC students inducted into Phi Theta Kappa academic society:The Somerset Community College Omicron Zeta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the academic honor society for two-year colleges, held its 2009 Induction Ceremoney on Sunday, February, 22 in the Meece Auditorium on the SCC Somerset Campus North. Fifty-Six students from across the SCC service areas were honored. In order to qualify for admission to Phi Theta Kappa, a student must have a 3.5 cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) and have earned at least 12 transferable hours or hours that apply toward their degree.
