Letter suggests ways to find missing Golden Retriever Debbie Murray's dog is missingTo ColumbiaMagazine.com: If Debbie's dog actually was among the dogs seized, it may have wound up with a breed rescue. I'd suggest she check with Warren County's humane organization and any and all Golden Retriever rescues in a large area, at least covering all of Kentucky, part of Tennessee and possibly other states, too. She can do this online...This is a prime example why having your dog microchipped is a good idea. It is also a reminder to people with the underground or electronic fence that it doesn't always stop a dog from leaving the yard, and it won't stop someone from stealing a dog. I wish Debbie luck in her search. It's heartbreaking to have a missing pet. s/Peggy Fudge This story was posted on 2009-03-23 05:13:21
