Adair Co. 33, Grayson Co. 45, 1st Round State Tournament

Adair County's fantastic 2008-2009 Boys Basketball season came to a close this afternoon in Rupp Arena. Grayson County High, Leitchfield, KY, won the second game of the 2009 State Tournament by a score of 45-33. Adair County come home the champions of the 5th Region, an appearance in the State Tournament, and with one of the best records in the state, 28 wins with only 8 loses.

IT WAS A SEA OF RED as the Adair County Band and Pep Club showed their support for the wonderful Adair County Boys Basketball team in their appearance as Fifth Region Champions at the Kentucky State Boys Basketball Tournament in Lexington, KY. No. 22 in red is ACHS forward Kyle Sandusky. No. 50 in redi is senior center Cameron Murrell.
