By Ellen Zornes

The 8th Annual Read Adair County held on Dr. Seuss's birthday, March 2, 2009, at Adair County Elementary School, culminated with the recognition of each school's top Accelerated Readers. Read Adair County that is part of the national Read Across America yearly event that promotes reading and reminds us all of its importance in the cognitive development of our children. We are extremely proud of all of our children and the number of books they read each year.
