Casey Elementary School Sarah Burton was recognized on the floor of the State Senate and House of Representatives on Tuesday, March 3, 2009. This recognition was in honor of her earning her National Board Teacher Certification. Kentucky is in the top ten states in the nation this year for number of new nationally certified teachers. Sarah teaches kindergarten at Col. Wm. Casey Elementary School. Her mentor and fellow nationally certified teacher, Debbie Bradshaw accompanied Sarah Burton. Debbie teaches first grade at Col. Wm.
