A-Teams leave for Governor's Cup in Louisville, KY, tomorrow Compiled from reports from ACHS Public Affairs and Kentucky Association for Academic Championships State qualifiers for Governor's Cup Louisville will depart for competition Saturday, March 14, 2009, at 12:00pmCT. ncluded in the trip to State will be the ACHS Quick Recall Team (4th Region Champions), ACHS FPS Team (4th Region Champions), ACMS FPS Team (Region runners-up and qualifiers), ACES FPS Team, and a host of individual qualifiers.These individuals include the following: High School Todd Smith, Marty Miller, Tasha Padgett, Samara Skinner, Cameron Campbell, Luke Maupin, Jake Leibeck, Lydia Tiller, Chris Yates, Elise Murrell, Chris Lloyd, Elton Cheng, Kelsey Castaneda, Paige Coomer, Ryan Montgomery, Cameron Gray, Blake Aaron, Melanie Alexander, Audra Turner, Barkley Edwards, Mary Susan Coomer, and Kyle Mann Middle School Heather Jackson, Emmalee Baker, Roslin Wilson, Abby Walker, and Alison Feese Elementary School Sarah McQuaide, Rebekah York, Amber Turner, and Landon Coomer From Saturday March 14 to Monday March 16, 2009, over 2500 Middle Grades and High School students from across the state will converge upon Louisville's Galt House Hotel for the Kentucky Academic Championships, the state finals of the Governor's Cup academic competition. Governor's Cup is coordinated by the Kentucky Association for Academic Competition. Students and teams present at the State Finals have advanced through local district and regional Governor's Cup Competitions. The eight events in Governor's Cup are:
