Adair Fiscal Court meeting for March cancelled, rescheduled

Special meeting with same agenda, except "other business" eliminated, is set for Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at 1:00pmCT. This change has nothing to do with the fact that at 6:00pmCT, in Lebanon, KY, the Adair County High School Boys Basketball team is poised to win the 5th Regional Basketball Tournament, and Adair County Judge Execuitve Ann Melton is calling on every able bodied Adair Countian to join her at the game wearing white, bringing down the rafters, rallying the Indians to victory and a trip to the Boys Sweet Sixteen. Rather, the change is simply a matter of good government policy.CM

The Adair County Fiscal Court meeting scheduled for Tuesday night at 7:00pmCT has been cancelled. A Special Called meeting of the Fiscal Court will be held at 1:00pmCT in the basement of the Annex Building tomorrow at 1:00pmCT. Because this meeting will be considered a special called meeting no "other business" will be discussed pursuant to KRS 61.823. -GALE COWAN
