KTC will hold public forum at ACHS on Heartland Parkway

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has scheduled a public information meeting regarding the Heartland Parkway. The meeting will be held Tuesday, March 17 6:00pm to 8:00pmCT at the Adair County High School Cafeteria, 526 Indian Drive., Columbia. A formal presentation will begin at 6:45pmCT.

The purpose of the meeting is to share with the public "Stage 1 Conceptual Alternatives" which represent the first stage in development of alternatives for this project and to obtain public comment.



The presentation will include discussions of the project background, the purpose of the public meeting, a brief description of alternatives, project schedule, future steps and phases in development of the project, and an orientation for displays and exhibits at the public meeting.

During the meeting, individuals will be able to view displays and ask questions one on one with Department representatives.

Anyone having an interest is urged to attend.
