LWC, Pinewood Golf Course receives cleaning, facelift Clubhouse will open Monday, March 9, 2009, for meals Click on headline for full story, photos By Duane Bonifer, LWC Director of Public Affairs COLUMBIA, KY - Lindsey Wilson College's Pinewood Golf Course has been a busy place this month. Since assuming ownership of the 120-acre golf course in late February, college employees have poured scores of hours getting the golf course ready for spring. In the clubhouse, new carpet and floor tiles have been laid down; a new ceiling and lighting fixtures have been installed; new tables and chairs have been placed in the dining area; and much of the building has received a new coat of paint. Also in the clubhouse, new heating and air-conditioning units have been installed. And on Monday, March 9, 2009, the clubhouse will be open to the public for meals. A lunch will be served from 11:00am-1:00pmCT on weekdays; the concession stand grill will serve meals during its operating hours, 9:00am-6:00pmCT on Monday-Saturday and 1:00pm-6:00pmCT.
