Obituary: Martha Prock Jones, 94, Columbia, KY Mrs. Prock was a member of a respected North Adair County Family and of the Barnett's Creek United Methodist Church and a homemaker Martha Prock Jones age 94 years a resident of Summit Manor Health & Rehab, Columbia, Ky. passed away Thursday, March 5, 2009 at 5:00amCT at Summit Manor. The funeral service will be Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 1:00pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY with the clergy officiating Rev. William R. Davenport. Interment will be in Barnett's Creek Cemetery. Visitation is requested after 4:30pmCT, Friday, March 6, 2009. She was born May 24, 1914, the daughter of the late James and Ramey Taylor, beloved wife of the late Leonard Prock of Pellyton, KY, and the late Leonard (Doc) Jones of Columbia, KY, devoted mother of John Prock and his wife Frances of Berthoud, CO; Altha Corbin and her husband J. W. of Columbia, KY, and Ray Prock and his wife Brenda of Cincinnati, OH. She was preceded in death by one daughter and son-in-law, Grace and Charles Quinn Of Columbia, KY. She was the dear grandmother of 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, and the loving sister of Will Sam Taylor of Russell Springs, KY. She was preceded in death by eight siblings. She was a homemaker and a member of Barnett's Creek United Methodist Church.
