Columbia FD contains mobile home fire in trailer park

The Columbia Fire Dept responded to a mobile home fire at 1:09pmCT, Saturday, February 28, 2009, to a residence owned by Linda Raisor at 557 Edna Drive off Oak Street, Columbia, KY.

The fire originated in a fireplace. Damage was contained to fireplace area and one bedroom.

There were 13 firemen on the scene for one hour.

Edna Street mobile home fire contained to kitchen

DAMAGE WAS SEVERE TO THE KITCHEN area, left photo but Columbia Firemen were able to contain a Saturday afternoon fire at the residence of Linda Raisor, at 557 Edna Drive, Columbia, KY, to the kitchen and one bedroom, leaving little evidence, externally, of the blaze, right photo, as fireman Dennis Loy talks to residents following the fire.
