Precious puppies for a price: Unlimited love, devoted care Adorable little fellows found huddled under a boulder on Bull Run Road, abandoned and hungry. They are available for adoption to home which meets the very strict requirements set for these now happy and energetic babies Clicking on headline accesses complete story, picture Update, 3:38pmCT, Tuesday, February 24, 2009: Precious puppies get another loving home By Barbara Armitage No creature on this earth deserves to be "thrown away". That's exactly what happened to these two beautiful little puppies. Someone dumped these babies on Bull Run Road just off Hwy 206 and left them there to starve to death. By huddling under boulders on the cold wet ground they survived at least 2 days without food before we found them. After a couple of good meals and a bath both puppies are doing well. The black one is a male and the brown one is female; both puppies are happy and full of energy. Our house is overrun with rescued animals - 11 dogs and 5 cats. As much as I would like to keep these two we can't. We are looking for more than just a "good home" for them. The person who adopts (hopefully both of them) needs to be prepared to give them a loving home where they will be treated like family members. There must be a safe place for them to run and play, healthy food, medical care including spaying and neutering, and most of all lots of love. Adair County has recently been overwhelmed with the rescue of hundreds of animals from an abusive situation. Because of this the possibility of finding a home in our community may be dim. I am asking that of the many out of town readers of CM hopefully one of you can give a home to these puppies. I am willing to drive them to their new home if necessary where ever it may be.If you can help please call Barbara Armitage at (270) 250-2979. This story was posted on 2009-02-24 10:59:15
