Blue Ribbon winners in Cultural Arts announced Adair Extension Homemakers give blue ribbons to Nancy Cozby, Pam Spires, Patricia Hadley, Denise Stewart, Kelli Shepard, Pat Wheet, Louise Fudge, Jane Grant, and Barbara Armitage Click on headline for story and photo By Barbara Armitage Adair County Extension Homemakers held their annual Cultural Arts exhibit on Friday February 20, 2009. Nineteen of our communitys most talented women competed for the honor of representing Adair County at the regional level on February 27, 2009. More than 70 handcrafted items were on display at the Adair County Extension office representing 9 of the areas Extension Homemakers clubs. Nancy Cozby of Circle of Friends club was awarded one of the coveted Blue Ribbons for her exceptional thrown pottery work on three blue kitchen bowls. Other Blue ribbon winners included Pam Spires, Patricia Hadley, Denise Stewart, Kelli Shepard, Pat Wheet, Louise Fudge, Jane Grant and Barbara Armitage. These local winners will advance to the regional level. Winners on the regional level will then advance to the state competition to be held in Ft. Mitchell, KY.
