AC Health Department to offer more diabetes self-help classes Toward a healthier Adair County: Popular noontime classes are free and open to the public. Seven new dates are posted. Reminders of classes in ColumbiaMagazine.com Events By Destiny Burton, RN, Diabetes Educator Adair County Health Department will be offering a new series of diabetes self-management classes beginning on Thursday, March 5, 2009. This will be a series of five classes to be held 12-2:00pmCT, on the following dates: March 5, March 12, March 19, April 2, and April 9, 2009. In addition, we will offer monthly night classes on March 2 and April 6 at 5 pm at the health department. Our classes are free and open to anyone who wishes to attend.
