Obituary: Ruby Cofer, 88

Mrs. Cofer, a homemaker, was a member of a respected North Adair County family and of the Cane Valley Christian Church

Ruby Cofer age 88 years a resident of Summit Manor Health & Rehab Columbia, Ky. passed away Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 3:45pmCT at Summit Manor Health & Rehab Center in Columbia, KY after several weeks illness.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at 11:00amCT at Stotts-Phelps- McQueary Funeral Home, with Bro. Raymond Martin the officiating clergy. Interment will be in Cane Valley Cemetery. The family requests visiting after 3:30pmCT on Monday February 23, 2009 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY.



She was born September 23, 1920, the daughter of the late John and Bell Morgan Bunch and the widow of Billie Cofer, who preceded her in death on March 27, 1977

She is survived by the following:
  • Glen Lee Cofer and wife Anna, Columbia, KY; and Dallas Ray Cofer and wife Norma, Russell Springs, KY

  • Two nieces and one nephews

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
She was a member of Cane Valley Christian Church and a homemaker.
