(ADV) The Buffalo Burger Business is Booming

2009-02-20 - 906 Greensburg ST, Colulmbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener.
JIM LEIB says the buffalo burger business is booming. "We advertise that we cook until 1:30," he said, "but we have days when I'm still grilling orders until 3:30." He said. He says he doesn't know what all to attribute the popularity of the food too. It could be his new sign, above. It could be the wonderful smoky aroma from the grill, and it could be because of his upbeat nature. He waves to everyone who passes by. "Every once in a while," he said, "somebody will stop and ask me if I need something," he said, "and I'll say 'Yeah, I need you to come in and buy some buffalo burgers.'" The place has become a destination eatery, he says. "We've had folks drive over from Campbellsville and say they heard about the buffalo burgers, and they want some." In any case, he said, he just keeps grilling. Doesn't listen to news about the economy. Just keeps on feeding satisfied customers. New lunch hours 10:30-1:30 Mon -Fri Serving nutritious and delicious 1/3 pound Buffalo burgers, buffalo hot dogs and an outrageous 3 bean buffalo chili. Call to find out about our "Special of the Day" on Wednesdays and Fridays. Call ahead for takeout orders (270) 385-9092.
