KSP Post 15 Troopers injured at Marion vs Washington Co. game

Two adults and two juveniles arrested in incident

Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY

On Friday, February 13th the Kentucky State Police received a call from the Washington County High School Principal requesting additional officer presence at the Washington County / Marion County High School Basketball game beginning at 6:00pmET, in anticipation of potential problems.

Tpr. Fred Cornett and Tpr. John Adams were in attendance. Immediately following the game a large crowd gathered in the parking lot and became disorderly.



  • Pamela D. Railey, age 44, of Springfield, KY was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest

  • Chelsea Railey, age 18, of Springfield, KY was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest
Both were lodged in the Marion County Detention Center.

Two juveniles were also arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest. One juvenile was additionally charged with Assault 3rd on a Police Officer and Criminal Mischief 3rd.

Both Troopers sustained slight injuries during the encounter with the crowd and are attempting to identify additional suspects at this time.
