Obituary: Mrs. Clara McMahan, 98

Mrs. McMahan was the head of a large respected Green County family. She leaves 53 living descendants

Mrs. Clara McMahan, age 98 of Greensburg, KY, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2009, in Greensburg, KY. at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital.

he funeral service for Mrs. Clara McMahan will be conducted Wednesday, February 18, 2009, at 10:00amCT at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Maple Hill Cemetery. The family requests visitation from 4-9:00pmCT, Tuesday, February 17, 2009, and after 7:00AmCT on Wednesday, February 18, 2009, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg.



She is survived the following:
  • Six children: Eva McMahan of New Albany, IN; Roscoe Rock of West Palm Beach Gardens, FL; Linko Rock and his wife Zona of Center, KY; Charles Rock and his wife Juanita of Louisville, KY; Myles McMahan of Melbourne, FL; and Blenda Pickett and her husband David of Greensburg, KY.
  • And 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends
