After committing 18 turnovers and trailing 37-32 at the break, the No. 17-ranked Blue Raiders (19-4) committed just five turnovers and out-scored the No. 2-ranked Cougars (20-3) 51-32 in the second half en route to the win. Trailing 60-59 with 7:04 left in the game, Lindsey Wilson scored 11 of the games next 13 points to grab a 70-62 lead. The Cougars managed to cut the Blue Raider lead to four (71-67) with 1:42 left, but thats as close as it would get for the highest scoring team in the NAIA. The Blue Raiders -- who enter the game shooting 64 percent from the line on the season -- made 12 of 14 freebies in the final 90 seconds to secure the upset win. The Blue Raiders finished the night making 83.3 percent (25-of-30) from the charity stripe compared to Mountain States 59.1 percent (13-of-22) Lindsey Wilson also controlled the glass, out-rebounding the visitors 45-30.
