Lebanon Enterprise Link on story: "Lebanon policeman murdered in home"

Trooper Billy Gregory, Public Affair Officer for Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY, has announced that there will be a press conference February 10, 2009, at 7:00pmET/6:00pmCT at the District Court Room in the Taylor County Courthouse in reference to the death investigation of a Lebanon Police Officer.

Reached shortly before the press conference announcement was received, he would not make any further statement about the excitement in Columbia surrounding the movement of KSP Police Cruisers through Columbia earlier this afternoon, declining to make any statement about the afternoon's events until the press conference this evening. It is believed the murder of the police officer and the police activity are related.

The Lebanon Police Department would not comment on the situation, directing calls to Trooper Gregory.
