Developing story: Still little word on major KSP movement KSP will say only that officers are responding to a incident in Marion County A number of persons have inquired about the waves of Kentucky State Police cruisers leaving Columbia going north on KY 55 this afternoon, Tuesday, February 10, 2009. The Kentucky State Police Dispatcher at Post 15, Columbia, KY, said that the only information which could be given out was that officers were responding to an incident in Marion County. Because of the secrecy surrounding the operation and the noticeably aggressive movement of the KSP cruisers through the City of Columbia, there has been speculation that the situation is "big." The latest information, not from law enforcement sources. is that the focus of attention now is in an area north of the Taylor County community of Saloma. More detailed information about the nature of the incident may be available soon. This story was posted on 2009-02-10 15:27:21
