Letter: Wants court to support ACHS band

About: Agenda Adair Co Fiscal Court February 10, 2009

To ColumbiaMagazine.com

Much attention has been given to the importance of attracting industry by insuring the future of our local country club, updating our airport, improving our roads, etc. I ask that the public, as well as the Fiscal Court, consider the image we can portray by supporting the efforts of both past and present Adair County High School band members. A trip to Macy's Thanksgiving Parade is the hard earned honor of so many Adair Countians.

While it may not be more important than other worthy uses of our funds, it should never be deemed less important. Please, support the request for $10,000. The students will benefit - all others are happy to pay our own way.

Thank you,

s/Jaime Willis White
