LWC Women's Basketball lose by one point at Pikeville College By Chris Wells, Lindsey Wilson College Sports Informaton Director LWC Women's Basketball loses 59-58 at Pikeville CollegePIKEVILLE, KY -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball team suffered a one point defeat in the final seconds to Pikeville (KY) College 59-58 today. Pikeville senior Whitney Hogg scored on a put-back with 7.2 seconds left to give the Bears a one point lead. Lindsey Wilson sophomore Diondra Anthony missed a three-pointer as time expired, giving Pikeville (16-8, 3-4 in the Mid-South Conference) the victory. No. 24-ranked Lindsey Wilson (18-7, 4-3) was led by junior Sierra Rambert's 14 points. Sophomore Viktoria Krell chipped in with 13 points and eight rebounds. Anthony added 10 points, four steals and three rebounds.
