LWC MEN lose to Pikeville College, 66-56 By Chris Wells, Lindsey Wilson College Sports Information Director PIKEVILLE, KY -- The Lindsey Wilson College mens basketball team was upset by unranked Pikeville (KY) College 66-56 today.Pikeville (16-8, 4-3 in the Mid-South Conference) received a game-high 22 points from junior Josh Samarco en-route to the 10 point victory. No. 9-ranked Lindsey Wilson (18-4, 5-2) was led by junior Eric McPherson. McPherson recorded a double-double scoring 19 points and grabbing 10 rebounds in defeat. Junior Paki Brown joined McPherson in double figures with 10 points and led the team with two blocked shots. Lindsey Wilson Men's Basketball returns to action at 6:00pmCT on Tuesday, February 10, 2009, as the Blue Raiders host No. 2-ranked Mountain State (WV) University at Biggers Sports Center, Lindsey Wilson College, Columbia, KY.
