Champion ACHS Cheerleaders compete in Sweetheart Classic today Adair County Squad puts winning streak on line in Sweetheart Classic at Warren East High School, 6867 Louisville Road, Bowling Green, at 1:00pmCT, today, Saturday, February 7, 2009 For complete story, photos click on headline. By Coach Julie McQueary The ACHS Cheerleaders continue their winning streak. This past Wednesday night the cheerleaders won the 20th District and 5th region KAPOS competition in the large varsity division. The squad had a score of 265; the next closest score in their division was Larue Co. with a score of 253. Out of all the squads at the competition ACHS had the second highest score right under E-town with a score of 256. The squad had an outstanding performance. Academic achievement recognized KAPOS also recognizes student achievements in the classroom. Natalie Collins received the All-Academic award for the highest GPA in the senior class. The following 15 members of the squad made the KAPOS All-Academic squad: Natalie Collins, Samantha Jessie, Amy Irvin, Chelsea Miller, Jessica Bardin, Emily Ramage, Alexis Tooley, Molly Keen, Keri Legg, Breanna Meeks, Malisha Hatcher, Rachel Burris, Peyton Antle, Casey Hadley, Taylor HodgesACHS competes this afternoon The cheerleaders will compete this Saturday, February 7, 2009, at Warren East High School, 6867 Louisville RdBowling Green, KY 42101, at the Sweetheart Classic.
