Crocus watch: Has anybody seen crocus blooming this year? Last year, on February 9, 2008, the first photo of crocus in bloom was taken and a photo was posted Edgar Troutman's crocus on Dillon Street, Columbia, KY on ColumbiaMagazine.com. Has anybody seen any in Adair, Casey, Green, Metcalfe, Russell or Taylor? In nearer the equator Cumberland County? If so, drop a line or send a photo, using one of the Contact/Submit. The record will help make ColumbiaMagazine.com a useful diary in 2109, for those of you still around. And, an advance request, remember to watch for the first Mountain Laurel on the Green River and Little Barren cliffs after the first of May. -CM This story was posted on 2009-02-07 03:37:37
