He was retired businessman, who returned to Columbia after owning and operating Economy Service-Heating and Air Conditioning in Elizabethtown, KY. Robert Linzie Dowell, 73, 1098 Hemlock Circle, ColumbiaKY, passed away suddenly, Thursday, February 5, 2009, at2:59pmCT, at the Westlake Regional Hospital Emergency Room inColumbia, KY. A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 8, 2009 at 2:00pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Larry Williams and Rev. Ronnie Dooley the officiating clergy. The family has chosen cremation. The family will receive friends after 11:30amCT Sunday, February 8, 2009, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in Columbia, KY. He was born April 22, 1935, the son of the late Robert Linzie and Eunice Rogers Dowell of Adair County, KY. He is survived by his wife, Dodie Dowell, Columbia, KY, and the following:
