Birds of KY: On a cold day, birds give backsides to world!

Shamarie Claiborne interpreted the birds gesture as mooning the world--they were really just waiting to be counted in the Great Backyard Bird Count. She wrote, "These birdswere sitting on a wire in front of the Old Hutchison House on the Square. . . they thought their backsides were the best views! LOL"

Old Ruby was just about five feet from my car today as I dropped the boys off, but I must say she is still the coolest turkey I know.
