Remembering Julia Loy: Scholarship Fund established at LWC

A notice has been received of the establishment of a scholarship fund at Lindsey Wilson College honoring a beloved teacher, Julia Loy, who died January 27, 2009, and whose career was dedicated to the educating children of Adair County. The note reads:
In lieu of flowers, expression of sympathy may take the form of donation to Lindsey Wilson College Julia Loy Scholarship Fund and may be made at the funeral home or mail to the Development Office Lindsey Wilson College, 210 Lindsey Wilson ST, Columbia, Ky. 42728.
The funeral service for Julia Cole Loy, 64, will be Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 2:00pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, with Dr. Rachel Marshall and Dr. Michael O'Neal the officiating clergy. Interment in Haven Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00pmCT on Friday, January 30, 2009, at the funeral home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY. Obituary
