Obituary: Julia Cole Loy, 64 Mrs. Loy was a retired Adair County teacher and was a member of Columbia Baptist Church Julia Cole Loy, age 64, of Columbia, KY, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2009, at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY, after several weeks illness. The funeral service will be Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 2:00pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, with Dr. Rachel Marshall and Dr. Michael O'Neal the officiating clergy. Interment in Haven Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00pmCT on Friday, January 30, 2009. She was born February 17, 1944, the daughter of the late Sylvester and Elsie Coomer Cole. She is survived by her husband, Marshall Loy, of Columbia, KY, and the following:
Julia was a retired school teacher having taught school in Adair County and was a member of the Columbia Baptist Church.
