Obituary: Jimmy Bragg, 65, Columbia, KY

Mr. Bragg was a member of a respected Western Adair County family. He was a former employee of Westlake Regional Hospital where he worked for 19 years

Jimmy Bragg, 65, Columbia, KY, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2009, at 3:09amCT, at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY, after several days illness.

The funeral service will be Monday, January 26, 2009, at 2:00pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, wth Bro. Lonny Karnes and Bro. Darrell Karnes officiating. Interment will be in the Moore Cemetery. The family requests visitation after 3:30pmCT on Sunday, January 25, 2009.



He was the son of the late Robert and Letha England Bragg of Adair County, KY.

He is survived by the following:
  • Three daughters: Sandy Stearns and her husband Glenn, Columbia, KY; Tammy Reeder and her husband Chris, Columbia, KY; and Pam Compton and her husband Stephen, Fairplay, KY

  • One brother: Larry Bragg

  • Two sisters: Linda Graham, Glasgow, KY; and JoAnn Hines, Hodgenville, KY

  • Four grandchildren

  • A special friend, Pam Wethington, Campbellsville, KY
Mr. Bragg was a former employee of Westlake Hospital in Columbia, KY, where he worked for 19 years

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
