CWC students celebrate 100th day of school Students at Col. Wm. Casey Elementary celebrated the 100th day of school on Friday, January 23, 2009. Every child received a giant $100 bill as they entered the school this morning. In addition students were dressed in a variety of collections of 100 items. Every thing from stickers, photos, straws, marshmallows, and even a face covered in 100 jewels came walking through the doors. Many classes were treated to a breakfast of waffle sticks and sausages in the shape of the numeral 100. Classes created necklaces, glasses and crowns to celebrate the elementary school holiday. The celebration of the 100th day is a tradition celebrated in classrooms across the nation! -PATTY JONES, Principal, Col. Wm. Casey Elementary School This story was posted on 2009-01-23 15:39:09
