Greensburg UMC taking orders for Angel Food Ministries

Orders may be placed from 4:30-6:30pmCT, Sundays, February 8 & 15, 2009, at Greensburg United Methodist Church, 111 W. Court Street, Greensburg, KY.

Greensburg United Methodist Church reminds the surrounding communities that orders for Angel Food Ministries will continue in February 2009.

This month, the regular menu, which costs $30, consists of:


  • 1 pounds of sirloin strip steaks
  • 2 lb chicken breasts
  • 1 lb boneless pork chops
  • 2 lbs chicken nuggets
  • 28 oz Salisbury steak
  • 12 oz sliced bacon
  • 1 lb hot dogs
  • 1 lb stir fry
  • 1 lb carrots
  • 10 oz peanut butter
  • 32 oz shelf stable milk
  • 35 oz French fries
  • 7 oz macaroni and cheese
  • 1 lb rice
  • 1 lb bean soup mix
  • dozen eggs
  • and a dessert item
Senior box with fully cooked meals available for $18

There is also a senior box which consists of ten nutritionally balanced, fully cooked meals especially designed for senior citizens. The senior box costs $18.

After purchasing one or more of the regular menus or senior boxes, people are also eligible to purchase one or more "specials." One of the specials for February is 2/5 bushel tangerines (about 70-75) for$15. Another special is four pound steak box for $21. Other specials are available.
