Reception January 27, 2009 for LW Football Coach Chris Oliver By Duane Bonifer, LWC Director of Public Affairs The Columbia-Adair County community will have a chance to officially meet Lindsey Wilson College football coach Chris Oliver on Tuesday, January 27, 2009. A community reception will be held from noon until 12:30pmCT on Tuesday, January 27, 2009,in the addition of the Sumner Campus Ministry Center. The Sumner Campus Ministry Center is next to the Roberta D. Cranmer Dining & Conference Center. Olive willr talk about his football philosophy, then community members will get to meet with him. Earlier this month, Oliver was named LWCs football coach. He is responsible for resurrecting a football program that has been dormant since the end of the 1935 season. LWCs first game under Oliver is scheduled for September 4, 2010, at home. Oliver comes to LWC after five years as assistant coach at Ohio Dominican University.
