OG Pig hanging out with Dwayne Hadley's great aunt's cows About: Scenic Adair Co KY The Real Hierarchy on Hooterville RD To ColumbiaMagazine.com: The Oak Grove Pig has taken up residence with my great aunt's cows and has been watching over them for many weeks now. We are not sure where he came from but it is believed that be is property of the same people who own the goats. It makes me kind of proud to have such a celebrity at the farm these days. :) s/Dwayne Hadley EDITOR'S NOTE: Wonderful news, Mr. Hadley. Hope you'll get us a picture. We can--all of us involved, from our leader Jackie Montgomery down to us, your humble scribe--give ourselves pats on backs if the Oak Grove Pig proves his mettle herding cows. Puts him several leagues above Babe, Mr. Hoggett's animatronic Pig, whose not insignifcant talents pale contrasted to what we're learning of the OGP! In fact, if your theory is confirmed,The OGP belongs in that Adair County pantheon of High IQ dogs, right up there with Old Raymond, and Pongo Yarberry, and Tommy Grider's storebought German shepherd; and Richie Janes' border collie, the dog most of Gradyville credits with putting Richie on his feet, and even above Joe Ballou's farwood ricking, pecan grading black Lab, Hershey, the smartest dog on Old Springfield Pike. Again, thanks Mr. Hadley, for the good news. This is a great day for Adair County, a great day for Hooterville Road, for all District 2, for Jackie Montgomery, and it is absolutely a Red Letter Day for the revered discipline, Varmintology.
