Pinewood fund drive completed; deal should be done in 30 days Former Adair County Judge Executive Richard Walker, a member of the committee raising funds to assure a Lindsey Wilson College takeover of Pinewood Country Club, said this afternoon, Friday, January 16, 2009, that the drive has been successful, and added, "A monetary agreement with the bank on the deal." "The bank" is First & Farmers National Bank, the mortgage holder on the property. Walker said he was not ready to give specific numbers around the deal, but, said that he believes that the deal will be completed within 30 days. "It could happen a lot sooner," he said.
